Tarangire
Tarangire National Park is one of the larger parks in the area. It covers an area of approximately 2600 square kilometers. These best months to visit the park are June to October when a spectacular view of the wild population can be seen. Particularly during this time, Tarangire is second only to the Serengeti in number and variety of wildlife. Of particular interest here is the large number of elephant and giraffes, as well as migrating wildebeest, antelope and gazelles.
